10 Ways To De-Stress

With Holidays right around the corner, there are many temptations and stress related environments you may find yourself around. Here at OH! Optimal Health, we are here to help you stick to your routine and de-stress.

Below are TEN of our favorite ways to reduce stress:

  1. Watch/Read funny, uplifting movies, TV shows, books, etc.
  2. Keep a food diary.
  3. Only fill your plate 1/2 to 3/4 full. Say NO and feel GOOD!
  4. Deep breathes, walks in the sun, meditation, qigong.
  5. Plant something… see it thrive!
  6. Look for Natural Remedies instead of synthetic ones.
  7. Light some candles, play soothing, feel-good music.
  8. Ask & you shall receive.
  9. Eliminate one “not-so-healthy” item in your diet.
  10. Drink lots of water with lemon.
